Project Overview
We transformed raw woodworking footage into fast-paced, ASMR-inspired short videos designed to boost brand awareness and position the creator as an expert. The result: satisfying, bite-sized content with strong sensory and visual engagement.
Our Approach
Each video was built around a strong curiosity-driven hook in the first 3–5 seconds. In one example, we used a clean sound paired with movement. In another, we showed a magnet sliding into a tube with a reveal later on. Both create curiosity and set up a payoff.
To make it feel more real and grounded, we used natural sounds like the friction fit of joints or the textures of wood. We lowered the harsh machine noise and brought out the sounds that feel more tactile. We also showed hand movements and small body language cues to make the person more relatable.
Key Challenges & Solutions
Some clips weren’t shot in the right format—horizontal instead of vertical, or vice versa—so parts of the image felt too zoomed in. We used different layout tricks to fill the screen without messing up the composition.
There were also sections with poor audio. We either reused cleaner sound from other parts of the footage or brought in similar sounds from outside sources to keep the experience smooth.
The goal was to help the audience understand the process while making it feel calm and satisfying to watch. The final videos helped the creator show what they do well, in a way that’s easy to share and enjoy.
